Who Is Your Best Friend? (誰是你最好的朋友?/ Shéi shì nǐ zuì hǎo de péngyǒu?)
This season in our Traditional Chinese Bud Box for ages 0–4, we’re excited to share 誰是你最好的朋友? (Shéi shì nǐ zuì hǎo de péngyǒu? / Who Is Your Best Friend?)! With its adorable characters made from seven simple shapes, this playful book introduces little ones to big ideas—like animals in Chinese, geometry, fine motor skill practice, creativity, and problem-solving—all through a classic Chinese puzzle.
Tangrams, or 七巧板 (qīqiǎobǎn), are a traditional Chinese game made up of seven geometric pieces. Kids can rearrange them to form animals, people, and more—just like in the story! It’s a wonderful way to learn Chinese vocabulary, explore basic geometry, strengthen fine motor skills, and spark imagination.
